Swiss Special operations unit selects Integris ballistic shields

Integris Composites and ITS Announce First Series Production Order for Custom Ballistic Shields
12 Feb, 2025

Integris Composites is proud to announce the first order for a series production of a custom-designed ballistic shield, developed under our “Design Your Own Shield” initiative for a Swiss Special Operations unit. This project was completed in close collaboration with ITS, a long-standing and valued partner.

Close collaboration

The process began from scratch, allowing the customer to define key specifications and performance requirements. Through multiple iterations and prototype evaluations, the design was refined to meet precise operational needs. Following the successful delivery of a prototype a few months ago, the project has now moved into the production phase.

Laurent Gausset, Group CEO of ITS, emphasised the strength of the partnership:

“Integris Composites has been a trusted partner for many years, consistently providing high-quality ballistic plates and shields. Their team brings a high level of expertise and dedication, ensuring we receive the right solutions for our customers’ evolving needs. With demanding performance requirements, we rely on Integris for their innovative and reliable ballistic protection solutions.”

This milestone highlights Integris Composites’ commitment to providing customised ballistic protection solutions tailored to specific mission needs. The Design Your Own Shield concept enables customers to define critical aspects such as shape, protection level, handle configurations, and colours, ensuring a product that aligns precisely with their operational requirements.

We appreciate the collaboration with ITS and look forward to delivering more tailor-made ballistic shields in the future.
