Integris Showcases Advanced Armour Solutions at DALO Industry Days
24 Aug, 2026

Integris Composites recently joined defence organisations, government representatives and industry partners at DALO Industry Days 2026 in Herning, Denmark.

Held on 19–20 August at MCH Messecenter Herning, DALO Industry Days is Scandinavia’s largest defence industry exhibition. The event brings together Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI) case officers, operational units, international delegations and companies to discuss future defence requirements and solutions.

The 2026 exhibition welcomed 1,244 exhibitors from 28 countries and recorded more than 21,000 attendees, underlining DALO’s growing importance as a meeting place for the Scandinavian and international defence community.

Showcasing advanced protection solutions

At its outdoor exhibition stand, Integris presented its advanced composite vehicle armour solutions and met with customers, partners and defence representatives from across Scandinavia and beyond.

The display demonstrated how lightweight composite armour can help protect military vehicles and their occupants against modern ballistic threats while reducing the weight associated with traditional protection systems. This can support vehicle mobility, payload capacity and overall operational performance.

Visitors could also learn about Integris solutions for other critical defence applications, including aerospace, personal protection and the naval sector. Across these areas, Integris works closely with customers to develop protection that meets specific platform, threat and operational requirements.

With its established facilities and experienced team in Denmark, DALO provides Integris with an important opportunity to reinforce its presence in the Scandinavian defence market. It also enables the company to meet existing customers and partners while developing new relationships across the wider defence community.

DALO Industry Days is an important event for Integris because it brings us together with customers, partners and defence organisations from across Scandinavia and beyond. With our established presence in Denmark, it gives us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the region, better understand evolving protection requirements and show how our solutions are already helping to protect soldiers, vehicles and naval platforms.

Contributing to Danish Defence Industry Day

Integris’s participation in Herning began one day before the DALO exhibition, when Helle Specht was invited to speak at Danish Defence Industry Day 2026.

The conference brought together policymakers, authorities, representatives of the Armed Forces and the defence industry for strategic discussions about security, defence policy and industrial capability.

Helle participated in the session ‘Financing Defence Growth: What Does It Take to Scale?’, alongside Joachim Finkielman, Director of DI Danish Defence and Security Industries, and Lars Mørch, CEO of Jyske Bank.

The discussion formed part of the conference theme ‘From Requirements to Readiness’, examining the role of industry in supporting defence and security. The wider programme also addressed lessons from the war in Ukraine, the future of Ukrainian defence, NATO readiness and sustainment, scaling European defence production, cross-border industrial cooperation and Arctic security.

For Integris, contributing to these discussions is an important part of supporting the continued development of Europe’s defence-industrial capabilities. Delivering effective protection for people and platforms requires more than advanced materials and engineering. It also depends on close cooperation between industry, defence organisations, governments and investment partners, together with the production capacity needed to respond to rapidly evolving requirements.
Supporting defence readiness through cooperation

DALO Industry Days provided another valuable opportunity for Integris to listen to customers, understand emerging protection requirements and discuss how its engineering and manufacturing capabilities can support current and future defence programmes.

As armed forces seek to improve readiness and platform survivability, reducing armour weight without compromising protection continues to be an important consideration across land, naval and aerospace applications.

Integris would like to thank everyone who visited the stand, the organisers of DALO Industry Days and Danish Defence Industry Day, and the customers and partners who contributed to three productive days in Herning.
