Integris Composites at Defence Services Asia 2026
Integris participated in Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur from 20–23 April 2026. As one of the leading defence and security exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, DSA provides a critical platform for engagement between defence manufacturers, military stakeholders, government agencies, and system integrators focused on advancing defence technology, survivability systems, and security capabilities.
Integris presence at DSA 2026
Exhibiting at Booth HALL 7-083, Integris presented its latest innovations in advanced composite armour, lightweight ballistic protection, and modular survivability solutions. These technologies are designed to enhance mobility, protection, and mission effectiveness across both land and maritime platforms, supporting evolving operational requirements in modern defence environments.
Representing Integris APAC at the event were:
- Yohann Barnaud – Managing Director
- Jacob Abelsen – Sales Director
- Yizhong Chen – Sales Manager
Throughout the exhibition, the team held strategic meetings with regional defence organisations, OEMs, and procurement bodies, generating new business opportunities, qualified leads, and long-term partnerships. The event enabled direct discussions around armour integration, lifecycle performance, and next-generation protection requirements, reinforcing Integris’ position within the global defence supply chain.
“DSA is a strategically important event for Integris, providing direct access to key decision-makers across the Asia-Pacific defence sector. It enables us to strengthen existing partnerships, develop new relationships, and demonstrate how our lightweight composite armour solutions are addressing the evolving demands of modern defence platforms.” – Yohann Barnaud – Managing Director
Strategic collaboration with CTruk Boats
A key highlight of DSA 2026 was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Integris Composites and CTruk Boats. The agreement establishes a collaboration focused on the development of lightweight composite armour solutions for high-performance marine platforms, including a next-generation Surface Effect Ship (SES) Fast Patrol Craft.
This partnership combines Integris’ expertise in advanced armour systems with CTruk’s capabilities in composite vessel design, enabling the delivery of enhanced survivability, reduced weight, and improved operational performance for naval and security forces operating in demanding maritime environments.
Importance of DSA for the APAC Region
For Integris’ APAC team, participation in DSA is strategically critical due to the rapid growth and evolving security dynamics of the Asia-Pacific defence market. Regional defence spending continues to expand significantly, driven by geopolitical tensions, maritime security concerns, and military modernisation programmes.
- Defence spending in Asia-Pacific reached approximately USD 632 billion in 2025.
- Regional budgets have grown at an average rate of over 5% annually between 2022 and 2025.
- The broader Asia-Pacific defence market is expected to grow to nearly USD 288 billion by 2031, with strong demand for naval platforms and advanced protection systems.
This growth is particularly relevant for Integris, as maritime security, fast patrol vessels, and lightweight protection technologies are becoming increasingly important across Southeast Asia and the wider Indo-Pacific region.
Supporting future defence capabilities
Integris Composites’ participation in DSA 2026 highlights its commitment to delivering innovative, scalable, and mission-ready armour solutions for the global defence market. As defence spending and capability development continue to accelerate across Asia-Pacific, Integris remains focused on supporting enhanced protection, operational effectiveness, and platform performance through advanced composite armour technologies.
