Integris Denmark has reached a major milestone: 20 years of operations, innovation, and collaboration in the local community. To mark the occasion, Managing Director Helle Specht hosted a celebration that brought together employees, their families, and many of the local businesses that have played a key role in the company’s growth.
“What we’re really celebrating is the people – both inside the company and around it,” said Specht. “This company was built with passion and dedication, and we wanted to share that with the whole community.”
The event featured a timeline painted on the production wall, showing the evolution of Integris’ products over the past two decades – from body armour to advanced turret protection systems made using state-of-the-art simulation and engineering.
Military vehicles on-site displayed exactly where these products end up, giving employees and their families a tangible sense of the impact of their work.
Guests included local craftsmen, the mayor, suppliers, and even the florist and bakery the company partners with. It was a celebration of shared success.
“In today’s world, having a strong local network is more important than ever,” said Helle. “Global thinking is essential, but it takes European and regional cooperation to establish the given successes. I used the opportunity to thank our local partners and remind the team that we are part of something bigger. In today’s global climate, balancing international reach with local resilience is key to a secure supply chain.
Three employees – Rikke, Helmuth and Brian – were also recognised for 20 years of service with commemorative gifts, speeches, and heartfelt thanks.
The celebration ended in true Danish fashion – informal, festive, and full of community spirit. Food trucks, games, and plenty of conversation made the day one to remember.
