Integris Composites has been delivering advanced ballistic protection solutions from its Primarette, France facility for more than thirty years, establishing itself as a cornerstone of the company’s global operations. Over these three decades, this site has developed into a centre of both engineering and production excellence in survivability technology. With its own dedicated manufacturing line and a shooting range, the facility is deeply involved in the full lifecycle of ballistic solutions—from R&D and prototyping through testing and final production. The French site supports a range of applications including personal protection and vehicle armour systems, as well as components for air and naval platforms. The name change in 2023, from TenCate Advanced Armour to Integris Composites, cements the facility’s role in a unified global brand, while preserving its strong heritage in innovation, quality, and reliability.

In recent years, the French facility has expanded its capabilities to include more flexible and responsive product development, especially for law enforcement and military use cases that require bespoke ballistic shields and rapid-deploy protection kits. New manufacturing investments have lowered tooling and mold-related costs, enabling production of small batch custom shields with shorter lead times and more competitive pricing. The facility works closely with other Integris sites globally to share technical knowledge and maintain consistent standards in materials, testing, and compliance.
